Description
This VO is to support several GreenDIGIT use cases defining resource selection algorithms that consider the environmental impact of HTC, HPC, Cloud, Container, AI, Storage, Network resources on distributed digital infrastructures.
The algorithms will take the environmental impact metric values
about the providers as input and consider these values as part of the optimisation process when selecting resources and services for distributed workflows. The optimisation algorithm will seek for the most environmentally friendly execution of scientific experiments.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of vo.greendigit.egi.eu Virtual Organisation,
hereafter referred to as the vo.greendigit.egi.eu, with reference to use of the EGI Infrastructure.
The OMB owns and gives authority to this policy.

Members and Managers of the vo.greendigit.egi.eu VO agree to be bound by the Acceptable Usage Rules, vo.greendigit.egi.eu Security Policy and other relevant EGI Policies, and to use the Infrastructure only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the vo.greendigit.egi.eu VO.
